Three assistant secretaries of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) were sworn into office in a formal ceremony Tuesday (22 November 2016). They are Allan Salim Cabanlong, Alan Abonates Silor and Carlos Mayora E. Caliwara.

The new assistant secretaries took their oath before DICT Secretary Rodolfo A. Salalima. In his speech, Secretary Salalima briefly shared his personal encounters with the three new officials. He said that more than their excellent credentials, their characters’ made an impression to him.

Meanwhile, Undersecretary Eliseo M. Rio said that an organization will only be successful if its members are the best of the best. He said that he is confident that the new officials are the people DICT need to achieve its goals.
