The pilot implementation of the Archives and Records Management Information System (ARMIS), one of iGovPhil’s shared services, kicked off on July 01, 2014 with record officers of the Information and Communication Technology Office (DOST- ICT Office) receiving their user accounts.
Record officers and holders of the different service groups of ICT Office will use the accounts to log into the system and perform various tasks, such as document and record management, tracking, and archiving.
Bugs encountered in the system are to be reported immediately to firstname.lastname@example.org. This is to ensure that the system will be working smoothly when rolled out and implemented. Other pilot agencies – the National Archives of the Philippines and Advanced Science Technology Institute – will soon also test the system.
Pilot testing of ARMIS is from June to August and it will available for agency adoption in the later part of the year.
