The chief information officers of various government agencies will gather on Thursday, 26 May, at 2:00PM to talk about the Government Cloud (GovCloud), the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offering of the Integrated Government Philippines Project (iGovPhil) Project. Venue for this Kapihan will be at the ICT Office Building in Diliman, Quezon City.
The Infrastructure component team lead of the iGovPhil Project will be discussing the current GovCloud infrastructure, the services offered, the deliverables in the pipeline, and the direction that the GovCloud component is heading towards. Updates on the ongoing evaluation process for the complete cloud solution (Next Generation Cloud) that is being procured will also be presented.
The Kapihan, hosted by the iGovPhil Project, is an informal gathering of government CIOs to discuss issues relevant to the implementation of ICT projects.
The iGovPhil is a joint project of the Department of Science and Technology’s Information and Communications Technology Office (DOST – ICT Office) and the Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST – ASTI).
