The Integrated Government Philippines (iGovPhil) Program has started using the Government Project Management Information System (PMGov). PMGov is an online project management application that allows users to collaborate and work with each other every step of the way: from initiation toplanning and design, execution, monitoring and evaluation, to closing.

On February 11-12, a Pilot User’s Training was conducted by Deng Silorio of Intelimina, the winning bidder for the customization of the system. Some 40 iGovPhil personnel attended this training at the Seminar Room, ICT Office, Diliman, Quezon City. A month after, a training for component team leaders was also conducted.

A common feature in the two seminars was the introduction of a quick guide about the system, i.e., dashboard, projects, and tasks. The training for the team leaders discussed the creation of projects and logical framework approach, adding of project managers, task management and introduction to the additional tools and resources.
